Petite, Pretty, and Full of Heart

Josie may be a Bernese Mountain Dog, but she’s a little lady by Berner standards. Getting compliments everywhere she goes (and she goes everywhere her mom goes!) she’s a perfectly petite 80 lbs with a big, loving, heart and soulful eyes. She’s known as the gentle “giant” of her home and office, even if she’s not quite so giant. However, Josie thinks she’s smaller than she is when she climbs up for cuddles: “Small” for a Bernese is still pretty big!

Laid-back and loving, Josie’s favorite thing in the world is being with her mom. Whether it’s tagging along to work (Josie even has her own headshot for the chamber of commerce), running errands, or riding shotgun on a car ride, as long as it’s with mom it’s her favorite. Josie also enjoys lounging outside on cool days from her favorite spot on the patio, and when the weather warms up, she stretches out on the tile inside to stay cool.

Not much for barking, Josie communicates in the sweetest ways, gently pawing for attention or locking eyes to let you know she’s there. She’s full of playful mischief, often sneaking off with a slipper or stealing toys from her golden retriever brother, Wilber. She loves a good game of chase in the yard and always keeps her family smiling with her expressive face and calm, loving nature.
