Full of Personality and Ready to Play

Lucy is playful, sassy, friendly, and full of confidence. She has a happy, social spirit and has never met a stranger. Whether she is greeting familiar faces at the door or making a new friend, she brings joy and excitement everywhere she goes.

She has a wonderful balance of energy. Lucy loves walks, playtime, car rides with the window down, and gentle wrestling with other dogs, especially her best friend June, a Golden Retriever. After a full day of fun, she is just as happy to relax on the couch with her family and catch popcorn tossed by the kids.

Lucy is praise motivated and loves being close to her people. She knows sit, stay, come, lie down, shake, and even gives hugs. When she wants attention, she will give a classic Berner bump, sit and stare until you notice her, or crawl right between your legs for love.

Around the house, she likes to keep track of everyone from her favorite spot near the stairs, usually stretched out on the cool tile floor or directly over an air conditioning vent. She is known for flopping flat, bursting into the family room to see who is there, and running to the garage door the second she hears, “You wanna go?”

What her family loves most is simple: she is always happy to see them, always ready to play, and always ready to give a hug.
